Different types of research go into the creation and co-creation of some type of artefact (sound, software), including user-testing, and the final artefact can also undergo experimental research. These include: the design and composition of sound for live (dance, theatre, installation) and mediated productions (xR, web, tv, film); and the creation, research, curation, and supervision of software development projects in collaboration with others to create innovative experiences, support teaching and learning, and solve human problems.
