Playful, dynamic, and evocative, the track below is one of several to accompany dancers in Garay’s vision in Entangled Extensions.
The work below has re-appeared in many remounts of Garay’s works and most recently in The Fine Line: Twisted Angels. The composition entitled “Siren” was imagined to represent the mythical sirens in Greek and Roman legends; creatures that were a blend of woman and bird. These beings were said to reside on an island and would ensnare sailors with their enchanting melodies, leading them to perilous waters and their doom. Click here for a performer’s perspective.
